On October 1st, 2014 an accidental fire claimed almost all the previous artwork of Artist Donny Lawlor. Two days later an accident claimed the life of his cousin. Starting with 'Accident' (directly below), Lawlor embarked on this series of works to mark a new beginning both in his professional and personal life.

Using oil on wood, found objects and mixed-media, Donny Lawlor (Alias: Pony) transports his viewers into alternative realities, playing with real and imagined social figures. Pony draws influence from popolar culture, social and political events and the internet.
